YMCA Bethesda-Chevy Chase
One of the Association’s largest and most diverse branches, YMCA Bethesda-Chevy Chase offers comprehensive health and wellness programs, with a special focus on aquatics programming. With an impressive 26,671 sq. ft. of space and three pools, BCC is able to serve nearly 20,000 local children and adults.
In 2008, YMCA Bethesda-Chevy Chase and Ayrlawn Program Center provided $260,919 in financial scholarships.

* Branch Board: The Board of Managers consists of 15-20 community leaders who steer the vision and direction of the branch.
* Branch Committees: Standing committees of volunteers which often include: executive, board development, finance, membership, program, buildings and property, marketing, financial development, and strategic priorities.
* Staff: The staff of YMCA Bethesda-Chevy Chase includes very experienced, well-trained and committed individuals.
YMCA Scholarship Program:
The YMCA provides more than $2 million in financial scholarships annually to more than 12,000 economically disadvantaged children, adults and families. Our annual campaign raises funds to continue the long-standing tradition of turning no one away due to an inability to pay. Events are held throughout the year to support our mission advancement efforts.
