During your training, you will develop a proficiency through practice, and be exposed to a wide variety of different styles--Aerial, Budokon, Restorative, etc. The sessions kick off on Sept. 9 and continue until December, allowing your training to fit into your busy schedule.
Our commitment is to empower you not only in the classroom, but in every aspect of your life. We believe that Yoga Teaching is not just something you do for an hour a day, but in every minute, every interaction, all the daily actions you take in your life. This is what sets us apart as an accredited 200 Hour Teacher Training Program.
Classes will be held at YMCA Anthony Bowen, and are open to all interested yogis! To learn more, contact Angela Meyer.

The Y is a cause for strengthening community. With a focus on developing the potential of kids, improving the nation's health and well-being, and giving back to our neighbors, your membership will bring about meaningful change within yourself and your community!
NOW ENROLLING: Before & After School Care for the 2016-2017 School year YMCA Arlington provides a safe, fun and enriching environment for your child to spend their after-school hours. Children will participate in arts & crafts, sports, team building, dramatic play, enrichment, character development, science, PHD, service-learning and free choice activities. In addition, your child will receive time and assistance with their homework and an afternoon snack. On early release days, children will have an opportunity to participate in field trips or special presentations at the Y. Our staff reflect, demonstrate and teach the YMCA’s Character Development traits of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility. We are licensed by the State of Virginia and maintain approximately 1:12 staff to child ratio. Our School-Age Child Care program is for children in grades K-5 (ages 5-11 years old).
