We believe the foundational skills and values learned early in life are the building blocks for a happy, healthy, centered person. NEW! HALF-DAY PRESCHOOL PROGRAM

YMCA Arlington provides a safe, fun and enriching environment for your child to spend their after-school hours. Children will participate in arts & crafts, sports, team building, dramatic play, enrichment, character development, science, PHD, service-learning and free choice activities. In addition, your child will receive time and assistance with their homework and an afternoon snack. On early release days, children will have an opportunity to participate in field trips or special presentations at the Y. Our staff reflect, demonstrate and teach the YMCA’s Character Development traits of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility. We are licensed by the State of Virginia and maintain approximately 1:12 staff to child ratio. Our School-Age Child Care program is for children in grades K-5 (ages 5-11 years old).
