Junior Aquatics Instructional

Join certified lifeguards and instructors in this super fun, outdoor refreshing summer experience.  Campers will swim three times a day including one swimming lesson daily focusing on stroke development.  Other water activities include pool safety, basic lifeguarding skills, water polo, diving and games.  Campers also participate in traditional camp activities such as arts and crafts and variety of sports.  No swimming experience necessary.

Mini Aquatics

Aquatic camps are designed for beginner through intermediate levels. All campers will receive YMCA swim lessons and depending on the swim level, activities may include stroke development, basic lifeguard skills and water sports. In addition, campers will spend part of their day participating in land-based activities including group games, sports & fitness, hands-on science, arts & crafts and more!

Beads, Bracelets & Jewelry Making

Design and create your own personalized jewlery and accesories. Create jewlery using FIMO clay, pre-made beads, and more. Make pins, bracelets, necklaces, earings and hair ornaments.

This camp is perfect for the arts and crafts lover who enjoys creating and finishing really fun art projects. Campers will create dream boxes, face masks, and mini scrapbooks. Camper will also make beaded jewelry, candles, tie-dye t-shirts, and create with henna body art.

Ballet/Modern Dance

Dancers will learn a mixture of basic to intermediate ballet and modern dance, techniques and stretches. Campers will work on increasing their flexibility, strength and coordination. All levels are welcome! All campers should come prepared with ballet shoes or socks and ballet leotards or comfortable clothing in which to dance.

Tumble and Twirl is especially designed for those who would like to try both tumbling and dance. Campers will improve their strength, flexibility, and coordination by being introduced to the fundamentals of both dance and tumbling. Parents are invited to come to a small presentation Friday afternoon to see what their campers have learned.
