Q. Is online registration ever unavailable?
A. Yes. The online registration site might be unavailable from Midnight to 2:00 a.m. EST for backup and daily maintenance.
Q. How do I get to online registration?
A. Go to www.ymcadc.org and click on the E-Z to Enroll icon.
Q. Is online registration secure?
A. Yes. The online registration site will secure your private information using a VeriSign SSL certifiate.
Q. What information do I need to login to online registration for the first time?
A. You will need to know the facility access number from the back of the primary adult's membership card and the date of birth of the primary adult.
Q. What do I do if I don't have a membership card?
A. If you do not have a membership card, you will click a line that says "Otherwise" and fill out the attached form in its entirety. That form will be emailed to your branch. Once your branch enters the information into the system, you will be contacted with your login information.
Q. What should I do if I try to login and I get an error message?
A. You should try again with a different adult's facility access number and date of birth. If you still get an error message, contact your branch to find out who is the primary adult on your membership.
Q. Do I have to login to see what programs are available?
A. No. You can look for programs without logging in.
Q. Do I have to login to register for programs?
A. Yes.
Q. What types of programs are available online?
A. At this time, most of the aquatics, fitness and youth/teen programs are available online. There are other program offerings that are not available online. Please refer to the branch program guide.
Q. What do I do if I have a special situation or want to sign up for a program that does not appear online?
A. If you have a special situation or want to sign up for a program that is not available online, you must go to the branch to complete your registration.
Q. How do I search for programs?
A. You can search for programs by branch (e.g., Alexandria), category (e.g., aquatics), specific age or any age, program number (e.g., 01101), and/or keyword (e.g., adult swim). For the branch, category and age, you will be able to select from a list.
Q. When searching by program number, if the first number is a zero, do I have to type that in?
A. Yes. You must type in all five numbers (e.g., 01101, 01302, etc.).
Q. Can I search for a program based on a specific day and time?
A. Yes. You have the option of doing an advanced search, which will allow you to select date ranges, day(s) of the week and gender.
Q. What payment options do I have for online registration?
A. Your payment options for online registration are Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.
Q. At what point is my registration complete and my space reserved?
A. Your registration is complete and your space is reserved when you have paid for your selected program(s).
Q. How long do I have to complete my registration(s)?
A. There is not a time limit set for completing registrations. However, you cannot allow your computer to be idle for more than five minutes. If you are idle for more than five minutes, you will lose your space and will have to start your registration process over.
Q. Can I sign up more than one person at a time?
A. As long as the individuals you want to sign up are part of your YMCA account, you can register them for program(s).
Q. What proof will I have that I registered and paid for a program?
A. You will receive an email confirmation notice that you will bring to the branch on the first day of classes.
Q. Can I cancel a program online and receive a refund?
A. No. All cancellations and/or credit/refund requests must take place at the branch.
Q. What is the credit/refund policy for online registration?
A. The credit/refund policy for online registration is identical to the branch registration credit/refund policy, as follows:
If you are unable to attend a class for which you are registered, you must notify the Member Services Office in person. A 10 percent processing fee will be charged per person, per class. A YMCA credit is valid for one year from the date of cancellation.
