SACC at YMCA Silver Spring
What's SACC? School-aged child care is the Y's before and after-school care program. Parents can rest easy knowing their children are in a safe and fun environment. SACC includes structured daily activities (games, swimming, homework time), snack time and so much more.

Care is also provided on Montgomery County Public Schools professional days, early-release days, winter and spring break, and snow-closure days.

Drop-in care is also available, but dependent on space.

To get a complete list of locations, please click here. To learn more, please contant Meena Suri, School-Age/Camp Director.

Love Tennis at The Y
In partnership with the Junior Tennis Champions Center, YMCA Silver Spring is home to four beautiful tennis courts and outstanding tennis instruction for all ages and experience levels. New to tennis? All YMCA Silver Spring members that are beginning tennis players are invited to learn the sport for life for FREE through the JTCC’s “Rally in 10” program. free swim lessons for families who qualify
Swim lessons not only keep kids safe in the water, they can also be the first step in building confidence, social skills and healthy living. We are excited to learn your child wants to swim! Through the generosity of Shannon’s Fund, a scholarship opportunity named in memory of Shannon Hawkins (one of our beloved aquatics instructors), we are able to provide free swim lessons for youth and teens between the ages of 6 and 17. In order to qualify for the funds, recipients must have little to no swimming skills and demonstrate a financial need.

To apply, please fill out this application and return it to Member Services.
