This hands on camp will introduce the creative camper to dabbling in drawing, plaster of paris, paper mâché, clay characters, and more! Go beyond the expected! Discover finger-painting, sponge dipping and other exciting possibilities.

SMART ART

It’s art with a twist. Art + Science = Cool Craziness! When you mix up art and science, you’ll create all kinds of interesting, cool designs. Experiment with different, colorful substances that produce reactions. Find out what candy chromatography is; put your noodle to work in a nifty chemistry workshop. Show off your pieces at the end of the summer in our Y Art Show!

ARLINGTON’S GOT TALENT

America has talent, but the best talent just might come from Arlington. Kids get to showcase their own talents, whether tap dance, magic, ventriloquism, and everything in between. Take their love and passion for their interests, allow them to be encouraged and build self-esteem and confidence shine through their stage presence and entertaining others.

CURTAIN CALL

It’s time for a close up, Mister. Deville! Kids get to showcase their acting, line memorization, and stage setup by learning a brief play and the stage directions. On every Friday, the kids will put on a show for the parents to show just the wonderful actor or producer that they are!

ART-O-GAMI

Art and origami – combined in one amazing summer. Take a trip to the ancient Orient, as you learn to make origami shapes, animals, and other incredible projects. Learn age old techniques and master the art forms secrets!

RECYCLIN ART

Treasure from “trash.” Shoeboxes, newspaper, paper bags, and more turned into something artistic and fun. Please send children in appropriate clothing that allows for freedom of expression or send a smock.

DUCT TAPE CREATIONS

Roll out the fun with colorful duct tape to make creative handbags, wallets, accessories and more!
