Camping, like many Y programs, is about learning skills, developing character and making friends. But few environments are as special as camp, where kids become a community as they learn both how to be more independent and how to contribute to a group as they engage in physical, social and educational activities.
From traditional to specialty, here are the camp programs we are offering at our Y branches across the region. Be sure to sign up early (before space runs out in your camper's favorite program!).

Inspiring Through the Wonders of Science
Thurs., July 23, 2015, 9am-3pm
Join us for Thingamajig, the Y's Annual Science Festival!
STEM is everywhere. It shapes our everyday experiences and is designing our future. It opens the doors to strategic thinking, creative expression and the best careers. At the YMCA, young people have numerous opportunities to learn, play and be inspired through STEM. The YMCA's Thingamajig Invention Convention is just one example of everything STEM.
For 21 years, we’ve sparked the inventive, creative minds of children through hands-on workshops, challenges and exhibits. On July 23rd, stretch your view of science with the YMCA and our many partners. JOIN US for our most inspiring year yet! Outside groups welcome! To learn more or register, click here
