Counseling

The YMCA provides an array of counseling services for youth, their families, and groups in Montgomery County, MD. Our Master’s level counselors help build on existing strengths while teaching new ways to cope with today’s challenges which may include marital or child-parent conflicts, anxiety, and depression.

 

Programs Include:

Linkages to Learning
School-based parent groups, donation collection, and distribution, and academic enrichment activities.

Regional Youth Services
Short-term counseling to prevent or intervene in mental health issues (e.g. suicide, anxiety, depression.)

Parenting Consultations & Workshops
Individual parent consultations; because kids just don’t come with a manual.
