In this action-packed week, campers will take daily trips to various adventure locations! Activities may include laser tag, indoor trampoline/bounce house locations, skating, bowling, and other exciting adventures!

Like learning about almost everything? We’ll check out museums of science, history, art and more. Possible excursions include the Smithsonian Natural History Museum, the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum, International Spy Museum, and more…
An introduction to riding basics, horse care, and responsibility taught in a safe and fun environment! Campers are transported by the YMCA to Clay Hill Stables for 2-3 hours each day to learn what it’s like to care for and ride their own horse. The emphasis of this camp is on safety and respect for the horse and his care. Campers will ride each day; based on experience, campers are split into groups and when groups are not riding they will participate in a variety of fun activities that may include: bathing, grooming, feeding, arts & crafts, and more!
Please wear long pants, sturdy shoes, and a riding helmet for this camp. Helmets can be provided by the stables if you do not bring your own.
This camp is what summer should be: the fun and freedom of the outdoors while learning new skills and making great friends! Each week is filled with new activities to explore! Campers learn to respect and appreciate nature through fun adventures like hiking, exploring, fishing, archery, canoeing, wilderness projects and environmental education, arts and crafts, swimming, camp songs, and many more surprises! Skilled Y camp staff teach teamwork and provide challenging, safe activities for each small group. Each camper will experience success-building skills that last a lifetime!
