YMCA Anthony Bowen Specialty Camps – ARTS
RIP THE RUNWAY
Young fashion gurus will create fashions and awesome apparel in this creative camp. Campers will learn the basics of clothing construction, from creative inspiration to practical considerations. This camp will culminate with a fashion show featuring creations by our very own style icons.
KIDS GONE CRAFTY
Create crafty creations! Develop your creativity with drawing, painting, sculpting and many more cool arts & crafts projects. This hands on camp will introduce the creative camper to dabbling in drawing, plaster of paris, paper mâché, clay characters, and more! Please send children in appropriate clothing that allows for freedom of expression.
CURTAIN CALL
Campers will learn aspects of theatre and performance from character creation to costumes, and set design to performance. Improvisation, make-up, props and characterization are just some of the techniques to be practiced as they work towards a final Friday performance.
