Youth Sports in DC

The YMCA of Metropolitan Washington provides a quality experience for players, coaches and families that promotes the development of each athlete to reach their highest potential through skill refinement and teamwork. No matter which sport they join, they will learn the basics of good sportsmanship and healthy competition through the Y core values of respect, responsibility, honesty and caring. 

Due to the damage caused by the burst pipe, the YMCA Anthony Bowen has had to make the unfortunate decision to close the facility tomorrow, Wednesday, January 7, 2026, for continued repair and restoration. We will update you tomorrow regarding operations on Thursday, January 8, 2026.
